Here's what you need to know for your Vii2 transition. Check back frequently for newly added questions.

It’s our goal to retain all functionality and features that communities are currently using in their portals. If there is any specific functionality that will be impacted by the migration, your CSM will be able to provide a suitable alternative.
Vii2 was designed to offer robust stability, new and upgraded features, and automated software updates. We will eventually be sunsetting the legacy platform.
Your existing portal will be replaced by the new Vii2 portal. Your community administrators will have the opportunity to review the new site and provide feedback prior to it going live, to ensure a smooth transition.
Any downtime associated with the migration will occur overnight. Your community will be made aware of any scheduled downtime so you and your team can prepare in advance.
We’ve created an enablement kit that has several helpful resources for your community, both administrators and residents. As your migration approaches, we will provide access to the kit, so you and your team have the tools you need for a successful deployment. The kit will also provide assets you can use to promote the new platform to residents, along with training materials.
Viibrant has developed a migration calendar based on our development queue. Your Viibrant CSM will work with you to ensure the timeline assigned to your community does not conflict with any other initiatives you have planned.
Your CSM will be your main contact throughout the migration process.
We encourage all communities to complete their migration as soon as possible to begin receiving the benefits of Vii2, including automatic software updates that will include additional updated features, new functionality, and bug fixes.
We will notify you in advance when your implementation process will begin, and you will have a chance to review your new portal before it goes live. Our goal is to make the process as convenient for you as possible.
Your CSM will keep you updated during every step of the process, and check-in with you and your team once the migration is completed.
Yes, your current portal will be unaffected during the build and review process. Once your community has approved the new portal the site will be pushed live to your current domain. This will be done overnight on an agreed upon date, and after a period of review. Once this is done, the old portal will be inaccessible.
Once the migration is complete, your portal will have all the features you were using previously, including new ones. Viibrant will also be able to push new features and bug fixes automatically in the new portal. If there is anything missing, please contact your CSM.
There are no additional costs.
Yes. Vii2 will integrate with eMenuCHOICE, the premier dining services management and point-of-sale application for senior living. Their solutions make it easy for communities to enhance resident experiences, improve staff efficiency, and increase profitability.
Vii2 will also be integrating with ePay, an online revenue collection solution that simplifies and the payment collection process for communities, residents, and their families.
We are not transitioning our legacy dining solution to Vii2. We found that partnering with an expert in senior living dining solutions will be more valuable to your community and residents. So instead of rebuilding our dining solutions, we're proud to be offering eMenuCHOICE, the premier dining services management and point-of-sale application built for senior living.
Please know you are not required to use eMenuCHOICE if you already have a system in place, like FullCount, Horizon, etc. Your CSM can assist you in adding a link or button to direct users to these systems as needed.
Current Viibrant customers will be able to receive the eMenuCHOICE Starter Edition at no additional cost. If your community is interested in the full offerings of eMenuCHOICE we would be happy to discuss those options. As we add new partner modules to Vii2, we will provide an update on those features. If at any time you would like to learn more about a partner module, please reach out to us.
We will be providing an Enablement Kit, which will include training materials for administrators and residents. Our goal is to provide assets that you and your team, as well as volunteer residents, can use to train residents on new and updated features.
